Anambra state with a number of people present. In attendance were people ready to spend huge amounts of money. Money spraying was on another level as some people sprayed naira notes, many others sprayed hard currencies like dollar and pounds, while others simply dropped bundles of money.

Money was flying here and there. It wasn’t a regular burial ceremony. Over 300 cows were killed for the burial ceremony. Hip hop stars in the Nigerian music and entertainment space were present at the burial ceremony.

The rain of money was so much that people literally had to step on it because it was on the floor. Following this lavish spending, a few persons weren’t comfortable with how Obi Cubana spent so much, many had things to say about the businessman and extravagant billoniare.

Most of the conversations were
centered on how the billionaire made his money. In this light, he was pressured to explain how he became a billionaire and even had a long interview with BBC In this regard.

Obu Cubana Speaks On How He Made His Money

When asked how he made so much money, Obi Cubana said, “I want to state this categorically, I am not the talking type or Social media interest-free person” “Many have questioned the type of boys and friends I have, to me, I hardly address anyone as my boy because we are all boys to God Amighty i  don’t have any boy who does rituals, if you are my boy or my man because I like to address my boys as my men, it means you are working hard to make your money in a clean way.

In 2013, I pushed 53 uneducated Oba boys into the market to learn trade. In 2017,I withdrew all of them from their Ogas and settled all of them with 3million Naira each, and paid for their shops. I connected about 40 of them into importation and made them use my name and influence to import goods into the country.

After two years, I checked on them how they were doing and found out some had issues and I supported them again to stand.! I’m happy today that out of the 53 men, 38 are billionaires włile
the rest are in the level of millionaires” .
